Think Cor-Ten for HSS sections. Develops a protective patina like A588 plate. Used for exposed architectural tubing, bridge railings, and outdoor structures where unpainted weathering steel is desired. Compare to A500 (standard structural tubing, needs paint) and A588 (weathering steel plate).
