About 800H|Incoloy 800H (32.5% nickel, 21% chromium, 46% iron). A high-temperature alloy with controlled carbon and grain size for superior creep and stress-rupture properties above 1100°F. Used for petrochemical furnace piping, heat exchangers, and reformer tubes. Machines like a tough austenitic stainless. Expect work-hardening and gummy chips, but less severe than Inconel grades because of the high iron content. Compare to Inconel
600 (better above 1800°F, more expensive) and 310 stainless (cheaper, adequate for less demanding high-temperature service).
