About Ultem 1000|Polyetherimide (PEI). A high-temperature amorphous thermoplastic with continuous use to 340°F. Transparent amber color. Excellent strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability. Inherently flame-retardant with low smoke generation. Machines well with standard tooling. Used for aerospace interior panels, medical devices, electrical connectors, and food service equipment. Much cheaper than PEEK or Torlon 4301. Compare to PEEK (higher temperature, much more expensive) and Polycarbonate (lower temperature, better transparency, cheaper).

About Sheet|Thin flat stock, generally under 3/16", used for stamping, bending, shearing, and laser/plasma cutting. It's the starting material for enclosures, panels, brackets, and formed sheet metal parts.
